Pierre Guenette – Canada

Pierre Guenette is a two-times ITF world champion in sparring. He reached the highest stage in ITF competition for the first time in 1987 and repeated this in 1992. He won both a bronze and two silver medals as well during ITF World Championships.
In 1997 Pierre was crowned King of Taekwondo, after being victorious in the Japanese tournament held yearly in Tokyo.
After his Taekwon-do career in both WTF and ITF, Pierre pursued glory in the famous K-1 organization. He entered the ring twice, one of his fights going up against the legendary Kyokushin Karateka Andy Hug. Pierre was unfortately unable to win these fights.
Pierre holds a black belt in ITF Taekwon-Do, WTF Taekwondo, and Shotokan Karate.
